Sorry Chaps...

...but because of various reasons I feel that I can't continue making Nothing But The Shire, at least until the start of next summer. 2 other (perhaps more impending projects) have cropped up, plus the third year of Uni and the work load is starting to fucking kill me. I will obviously continue to film in Oxford with the possibility of getting a video together at some point, but I feel its too hard to get people together to get footage. I'll continue to run the blog with Oxford related updates and footage when I'm home.

The only person with enough footage for a part is Jason, so I imagine you'll be seeing a full street part from the little shit shortly, hopefully somewhere worthwhile where that footage deserves to be. Everyone else whos filmed stuff, your footage will be leaked over time on here, or perhaps in one big edit, I can't decide yet.

Sorry if you actually wanted to see this, hopefully next summer will be a little more fruitful, and provide a better base to start making a vid from.

Partner in crime and co-Ride With Us editor Mr Jon Trenchard esq has had data problems, culminating in possibly loosing 18months worth of footage off his hard-drive.

I seriously hope Seymour can get his nerd on and save the footage as it would be a massive shame to loose Jon from filming / editing, as I know his next production would have been, and still will be sick.

In the mean time here is Jon's first production, 'Accents'. Rad.

Title is pretty self explanatory, but get ya sen down to Corby this weekend and show some support to NBTS's Jason Cloete and Tom Watts who'll be riding in the street comp there this weekend.

If Tom stays off the beers, he'll probably do alrate!

Sorry, my MacBook has broken, so updates are thin on the ground unfortunatly.

Filming has stepped up a bit recently which is good, and we should have a month in the city entry done if I get a computer in time.

Oh and Jase managed 2nd place in the UK final of Es Game of Skate in Manchester, props to that man.

...who took 1st in last Saturday's Crawley Sponsored Riders comp, grabbing himself £100 and beating Mike Wright of all people in the process! Props big man, when you coming to sort me Mam's carpet?

Mad updates tonight!

We've already started racking up the footy for Month in the City, Jason being the main culprit, plus when I get in tonight there will be some mad Potter orientated updates courtesy of Crossfire and Drawing Boards. My boys back on it!

Oxford - Month in the City

Right, here we go, its official - pretty similar rules to The Berrics Younited nations / The Big Push....

- You have a month to film, as long as your footage is filmed in Oxfordshire its ok!

- You can use old footage as long as it hasn't been used in a montage

- As long as the edit is longer than 2min 30secs thats fine. Any camera is accepted, who gives a shit! Make a phone edit for all I care!

- You can have up to 7 people in your crew.

- Park / street / homemade obstacles, anything goes - I want to see some variety!

- There will be prizes, I'll sort something out. If enough people are down I'll put a cash prize up from my own pocket, my 20th will have been so I'll actually have cash!

- Email neddington12@gmail.com with the names of people in your crew...

- Submission date is August 31st, basically I'll need your edit on a disk by then. After I have them all, we'll sort a mini-premiere out in an Oxford pub.

- Basically I just want to see the whole Oxford Scene get together, go out skating, get some footage, and most importantly have a laugh. The more inventive, piss taking, funny stuff etc the better!
